Sometimes we respond to questions with novels, sometimes with one word sentences. If we are pretentious or offensive simply for being short, even if the question asked calls for a short answer, then so be it. If my personal online presence makes us seem pretentious in a way other than that, I guess I’m sorry, but kind of mostly not sorry. No one on here answers questions condescendingly or with a mean spirit—generally, we type on here the way we talk to each other. Let’s pick ourselves up here, wipe our noses, and look off into the future, wide eyed and with clear hearts; we are all friends here. Anyways, there are more important things to get offended over than how we voluntary answer questions. I suddenly feel old, tired, and simply unable to put anymore thought into whether or not I am an asshole on the Internet.
And besides, there is a lot of mean in the world, and we really aren’t that mean.
